Social media was once a tool for connection, but now it’s being weaponized to manipulate and divide Americans. I break down how this is happening, and I also highlight a pattern: when a Black woman creates something innovative, she’s often ridiculed, but when a non-Black person or a man does the same thing, it’s praised. This isn’t a coincidence.
The Heart of the Episode:
This is where I get real about self-worth and the difference between those who value themselves and those who take their trauma out on others. I open up about how:
- Friends, fans, and lovers have used me for my energy, only to discard me when they couldn’t stand on their own.
- People who refuse to do the work on themselves lash out at those who embody confidence and authenticity.
- I am enforcing boundaries, not because I’m cold, but because I’m done being drained by those who don’t reciprocate.
This episode is all about reclaiming my power, setting firm boundaries, and calling out the contradiction of those who refuse to save themselves but want to play “captain save-a-hoe” for everyone else.
